  7. Then confirm the account you want to link to your seller center account.
  8. After, check the seller center if you now have JumiaPay as a payment method.

If you don’t have the JumiaPay app on your phone, you can easily go to the Google play store and download it.

Then, use your Jumia login to access the app. If you don’t have an account, you can log in with Facebook or your Gmail. Then, fill in the needed details and signup.

JumiaPay automatically creates an account once you purchase on Jumia. But this option is only available if you choose JumiaPay as a payment option. JumiaPay then saves your email and requests a password for security.

And in case you can’t log in or have forgotten your password, just do this:

  1. Go to the Jumia homepage.
  2. Click on the “forgot your password” button.

To pay with your debit card.

  2. Click on checkout
  3. Choose a payment method
  4. Choose JumiaPay as your means of payment.
  5. Select a debit card option, pick a bank and fill in your details.
  6. Choose the card option and input info
  7. click on “Make Payment.”

And that’s it. You just made a payment with your debit card.

To pay with a bank transfer.

  1. Purchase on your choice of  items from Jumia
  2. Click on checkout
  3. Choose a payment method
  4. Select “Bank transfer” as your “Payment method.”
  5. Add your ten-digit account number for first-time users and your account name. 
  6. If your bank details are already saved, then just click on them.
  7. Your bank will send you a one-time code to your registered number.
  8. Enter the one-time code and click “Enter” to confirm the transaction successfully.

And voila! Your transaction is successful.

To verify your payment method.

To verify your payment method and avoid stories that touch, send a mail with the following information to [email protected]

  1. JumiaPay Business Account Name
  2. JumiaPay Business Account ID
  3. Seller Center Store Name
  4. Phone Number
  5. First and Last name of bank account
  6. Bank Name
  7. Last four digits of the account number
  8. Bank Verification Number (BVN)

This process duration can take up to 48 hours. After it is approved, your account details will appear under the payment option. Also, every transaction will appear under the “transaction” option.

How to withdraw from your JumiaPay 

For JumiaPay for business, to withdraw your cash from the wallet, follow the steps below:

  1. login to your “JumiaPay for  business” account
  2. After, go to “Balance and Withdraw,” then click on withdraw.
  3. Input the amount you want to withdraw
  4. Confirm the information for withdrawal by clicking “Confirm” 
  5. The transaction is done.

How to  use “Contact us” on JumiaPay

1. Can I link multiple stores with one bank account number?

Yes, you can. You can use one bank account for multiple stores. In this case, the seller has to create only one JumiaPay Business Account, add the bank account details and get it verified then link this JumiaPay Business Account to all his stores.

NB: One Bank Account can’t be added to multiple JumiaPay Business Accounts. But a single JumiaPay Business Account containing one bank account can be linked to multiple stores.

2. How do I unlink accounts?

You can unlink your account by following these steps below;

From seller center, go to your Settings -> Your Profile -> “Change My Account”

Login with the desired email. Select the desired JumiaPay Business Account from the list of accounts associated with the email or click “Create new business account”

Lastly, click confirm.

3. How do I delete/deactivate accounts?

You can demand to delete your account by sending a mail to [email protected] stating the JumiaPay Business ID or email, the account is linked to, and the last 4 digits of the bank account. Jumia will respond and delete the account. 

4. What is the withdrawal limit per cluster of sellers?

The withdrawal limit is 200,000 naira as of the time of writing.

5. What do I do when there is a conflict between an existing Jumia pay customer account and a Jumia Pay Vendor account

If you want to use the account details attached to the customer account as opposed to the account details attached to the vendor account, Jumia will need to delete the account from the customer account to enable you to add it to the business account. 

You can send an email to [email protected] requesting for the account number to be deleted from the customer account.

6. How do I reset my Jumia Pay password?

 Click on the forgot password button

7. I have sent several emails for verification but I am yet to get confirmation that the account has been verified?

Please login here https://business-pay.jumia.com.ng/  with the JumiaPay business account to confirm if you have been verified.

8. An error has occurred when trying to create a JumiaPay Account?

After typing your email address, click on create an account and not login.
