#1 Secret to making money online that nobody will tell you about
#1 Secret to making money online that nobody will tell you about
There are hundreds of ways you can make money online. Every business you can think of is already online. As long as you have an internet connection and a mobile device or computer, your opportunities are limitless. You can be at home and be earning money. That’s the beauty of being online.
While the opportunities for online work are endless, optimizing them can be very challenging. Even though working online will allow you to work from anywhere, it would also be nice to have so much spare time on your hands.
Most of us are not told this secret on how we can make money online with ease. And, that is what this blog post will reveal to you. So, keep reading to find out the secrets.
Do What You Love.
That’s it. Do what you really love. Choose a topic, a niche, an area, an industry, that you have some vibes with, some passion for, some appreciation for. There are a whole bunch of reasons for doing this. Which are:
1. It makes it much easier to stick with it for the long term.
It can be pretty hard doing a job you have no motivation for. When challenges or problems come knocking, there is a higher chance of you throwing in the towel, when it’s something that doesn’t give you joy. I mean take a look at some of your favorite celebrities, they are where they are and still there being relevant because the first thing first, it’s something they want to do. It’s something they love. I am very sure they go through a lot of challenges in their careers, some challenges that some of us will be hospitalized if we go through a fraction of it, but they still come out of it, and stronger in some cases. They can’t just stop doing what they do. It’s their oxygen. This gives them the strength to stick to their occupation which is their passion for a long time and through thick and thin.
2. You can only give what you have.
Those who read what you produce or create and come across you will feel much more drawn to you if you are passionate about it yourself. Some of us listen to some musicians because of how real they are in talking about their life. They share experiences they’ve gone through with their music and you can relate to it. It’s like he is talking to you and you both are on the same level, even though you’ve never seen him physically before. And guess what, if he is holding a concert, you will definitely buy tickets to see this person sing more about your experience.
The same thing happens when making money online. If there are no personality, empathy, vibes included in your business, you won’t sell, and believe me, customers can tell the difference between a brand that cares and a brand that just wants their money.
Personally, I find it quite easy to make money from something that I actually have a genuine interest in, because I will be able to produce content about that product in a way that will connect with people, invoke emotion, and make them want to buy from me. And I’m not just selling them a product, I’m selling them a product plus a story plus an emotion. An offer that’s too good to turn down. But this is only possible if you have passion and love for what you do.
This doesn’t mean you cannot make money from something else you are not interested in or that you don’t like; it is just a lot easier to do it this way that involves joy.
3. Make an Impact
Make a positive impact with your products. Trust me if you deliver quality products and services, the customer will always come back. Even if your fee is quite steep, they wouldn’t mind saving for it, just to get your product or service.
I’m pretty sure you have someone you always go to when your phone gets spoiled or when you want to purchase a new phone, there are plenty of stores out there but you choose that one, because of the positive impact that person had on you with his or her products or service. So, it’s your number one store that comes to mind when you need that product or service.
Make an impact.
Again, you can make money online by doing things that aren’t important, that aren’t useful, that isn’t really enriching people’s lives, by scamming people, but it is much more satisfying if you are doing something that’s actually useful, and is much more sustainable in the long term. If you want to build a business, you have to actually make connections with people and be useful to them.
4. Be confident
Be confident in what you sell. Once you have chosen something to produce and to focus on, and once you start making sales, confidence will come. That is something we believe will happen naturally. And while that is true, you still need to work on your confidence. There would be times when you might not be able to sell your products and might feel you are not up to it or have taken the wrong business path. If you do that, you’ve failed already.
You need to approach your brand confidently. You need to approach potential partners confidently. You need to make offers confidently. If you are nervously doing these things all the time, people will sense that, and they might feel your business isn’t credible enough.
Now, that does not mean you have to be extroverted and hype things up. You just have to learn how to push yourself forward. Be as confident as you can.
Remember the quote “ Jack of all trades” well the actual full quote is “Jack of all trades, master of none, oftentimes better than master of one.”
You have to know how to diversify what you do. Don’t just focus on one stream of income. Have plenty of streams that can build you a river of income. Now, this is kind of tricky, because if you spread too much you can end up spreading yourself too thin and burn your productive energy out. You have to take it little by little.
For instance, you run a dance vlog, you can start with good videos of dance moves, and then when you build a reputable following, you can diversify into fitness (which is still loosely related to dance), movies, or comedy. Little by little building those other sides too, and if one doesn’t work out, you still have two more to back you up. Just test the water first before doing a cannonball into the pool
6. Think of the long term goal
You should look at your business or goal with a long-term view and goal. You can make lots of money on the Internet, but it largely comes after years of building foundations. Build a relationship with your customers, users, audience, whatever term fits your platform. Don’t just think of now, think of what you stand to gain in the next year or two and gauge it to see if it’s worth it.
You need to look at it as an investment. Most times, when you make investments, you don’t get a return on those investments instantly or for several years, and the same is true about making money online. Look at the energy, the time, and possibly even some money that you have put into these things as an investment that will pay off.
7. Treat making money online as a business
You should always treat whatever you do to make money online as a business. I say this because not everyone sells things online. Some people make money by just being influencers or shooting videos about stick drawings and posting them up on YouTube. It’s very easy to look at what you do as a hobby and not as a business, especially if it’s something you love doing.
You need to snap out of that illusion and look at your brand as a money-making brand and you are lucky because you get to make money from this brand doing what you love doing.
As you release a new product, try to think of ways to drive traffic back to that product constantly. You need to think strategically. Most people come online, and they create content, and they think that it will make money by just getting an audience. Even if the platform is a pay-per-view platform like YouTube, you still need to think strategically about how you are actually going to make people watch your content and how you can monetize it.
So you need to think about it as a business, you need to think about it tactically. Don’t just rely on advertising income or marketing other people’s products. Try and work towards having some of your products that you can sell, and then develop strategies around those products to sell them, not just when you launch them, but in an ongoing way.
There are plenty of ways to make money online but there are only a few ways to keep that income constant. What is shared on this blog post is hardly talked about and I feel most people should have an idea of what they are getting into before they get into it. What I shared here are secrets to making money online that nobody will tell you, but I hope you are now equipped with the necessary knowledge to make some certain positive choices for yourself and your business.
